About Lucas Lai

I am a visual designer based in London, UK. I have commercial experience ranging from advertising to branding and animation. Recently I have been experimenting with CGI using Blender.

I recently graduated from my MA in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London in 2022. I also hold a BSc in Biotechnology at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

In my commercial creations I strive to express my clients’ unique brand identities whilst maintaining awareness of contemporary ways of designing.

In my artistic pursuits I enjoy engaging in meta-humour and subverting audiences’ expectations.

When I’m not creating you can find me doing contemporary dance, looking for ceremonial matcha and playing video games.
